Ministry to Israel MTI
Lifespring Chapel through prayerful consideration first adopted as a missions outreach, Ministry to
Israel. Ministry to Israel is led by J. Michael Utterback, as the Executive Director. Ministry to Israel or
MTI as it is often called, is involved in reaching out to the Jewish community in Israel. There is much
they do in an effort to show the love of Jesus Christ to the Jewish people, from building of shelters, to
ministry to soldiers in the Israeli Defense Forces. MTI has been supported by Lifespring Chapel since
early 2001, and it is our pray that we may one day join them in direct ministry, by being on-sight with
them for a period of time through short term missions trips. More about MTI can be found at their
website www.ministrytoisrael.com.
Miracle Ministries
Dr. John Durrah and his lovely wife Pat have been reaching out to the children of the Philippines for
many years. An established missionary team, they oversee the ministry from Angles City, Luzon
Philippines. Lifespring Chapel has faithfully supported the Durrah’s in the work the Lord has given
them to do, since 2004. Since first meeting and having the Durrah’s visit Lifespring Chapel our hearts
have been joined to reach the lost. Lifespring Chapel’s Missions Coordinator has twice visited the
Philippines to join in the ministry there. It is our sincere desire to increase in our assistance to Miracle
Ministries. Currently there is a need for $25,000.00 to raise up a 100 bed orphanage. John & Pat
Durrah have already taken in over 20 orphaned children, who have a great need for our assistance.

Operation Compassion
Lifespring Chapel has supported since early 2003 Operation Compassion through the adopting of a
child. Our child’s name is “Linda Rubali Silva Yupanqui”. Linda lives in Peru with her mother and
father, along with her one brother. The Sunday School Offering has historically gone to “Little Linda”.
This special offering for her has enabled her to attend school, have meals with her family, and
receive presents for her and her family at Christmas time. One day it is the desire of many in the
congregation to go and visit Linda in her homeland. More can be seen about Operation Compassion
at www.compassion.com.
